When I tried to map the drive through the command prompt on the xp machine, I used the FQDN and it could not resolve. When I was mapping through the GPO, I was using the FQDN. I did find the issue though, when mapping it directly from the computer, I was using just the host name which worked. This was a new GPO, I was using replace to run once and Create afterwards.
