And then what you're gonna do is you're just going to pick colors and see what you like together. And let's just go ahead and put in like 800. That's maybe decrease the size of my brush and bed so we have some more room. And let's start with our original rusty color. I'd like to add a second layer just so that I am making my colors watches on a different layer. Let's make this a little bit smaller so we have some room to work with and grab your color picking tool. So now our palette has tons of value added to the palate and there's a lot of colors to play with. And then bump it the opposite way on the heels. Now decrease the lightness and making the colors darker. And now we're gonna do the same on the bottom, except we're going to do it the opposite. So now we're already seeing some nice additions here. So we get into these kind of pastel colors and also decrease saturation, and then pumps the hue a little to the left. And we are going to move down the lightnings. And now you're going to open up your hue saturation. So now we're going to take our selection tool and select the top 1 third of the color. So I'm just gonna go ahead and clean this up a bit so we can add value. So the next step in the strike is to add value to kind of create a little bit more uniqueness in your, in your palate. So now we have our base palette, and this could be what you make your color palette from, but it's lacking values. So moving down into the blues, really nice. And maybe we need one more color on our palate. Alright, and we're just gonna do this again into the purples. And now we're gonna move into this berry colour in between pink and red. Wrap it back around sometimes with red, it will report you to the bottom. So we're moving the opposite direction now. And we're going to actually wrap this all the way around. So we're gonna go to the right and down, moving to the darker side of things. So go ahead and select the beginning color again, so you start at the beginning. Okay, so now we're gonna wanna do the darker shades. And who put this into this nice green? Perfect. So let's just keep doing this a couple more times and tell we have maybe one more for the light side of things. It's, it's really up to you as long as you're following the imaginary curve should be. If you want to go into the green right away, you can. And it's completely up to you how far you want to move the heel. And just like last time, we're just gonna shift it up a bit. Alright, some nice spicy colors in our palette right away. And then once you do that, you want to nudge the hue up a bit so you get into this yellow. So up and over to the left, we'll start with the lighter colors. Alright, so now we're going to move along the imaginary line. So just select OK and draw your first color swatch. And you'll understand why we don't want that a little bit later. I won't get into being too light or too dark. So I'm gonna keep this rusty orange color because it does have enough room above and below on our imaginary line. And then once you have a picked, we're going to follow this curved line as if this imaginary curved line, as if it's being drawn from the top left corner to the bottom right corner going through where your your ColorPoint is. You want it to be somewhere that's not too light and not too dark. Now we're going to want to pick a color that is somewhere, actually where my color picker is right now is really great. Alright, so we're going to want to work with our brush tool, so make sure your brush tool is selected and then go ahead and open the color picker. And when you're ready, just press Create. Create new 100 by 100 centimeters should be good for this project. Creating Color Palettes: Alright, let's go ahead and open up Photoshop. Then sign up for this class and let's get started.ΔΆ.
